Shop / bulova watches for women
Inspired by vintage design, the classic watches from the Bulova Ladies' Classic Collection achieve a tailored, understated look, featuring a beautifully crafted collection of luxury diamond watches for her. Crafted from stainless steel, these timepieces come with a 2-hand, slim movement, silver-tone finish, 4 diamond accents, and a mineral crystal. They are water-resistant up to 30 meters and backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
Another offering from Bulova is the Precisionist Collection. At the heart of these watches is the brand's proprietary Precisionist quartz movement, custom-engineered to provide accuracy within seconds per year. This is achieved through the use of a three-prong quartz crystal that creates a vibration frequency of 262.144 kHz, the highest of any watch in the world and far greater than that of a standard quartz crystal. In laboratory testing, the Precisionist-class movement has been shown to be three times more accurate than standard quartz. This unique movement, including the signature floating second hand, also offers superior resistance to gravitational error, making it outperform any mechanical watch on the market.
The Precisionist watches are housed in stainless steel cases with a silver and black ion-plated finish, featuring a curved crystal, multiple-layer black carbon fiber dial, grey and silver accents, a red continuously sweeping second hand, luminous hands and markers, a curved calendar window, a 24-hour track, a screw-back case, a screw-down crown, a double-press fold-over clasp with safety lock, and water resistance up to 300 meters.
Bulova's history can be traced back to 1875 when Joseph Bulova, a 23-year-old immigrant, set up shop in New York City, laying the foundation for a legendary American watch brand. Since then, Bulova has stood at the forefront of timekeeping innovation, registering over 50 patents and establishing a legacy of creativity and excellence. The company has introduced numerous industry firsts, including the first full lines of men's (1919) and ladies' (1924) wristwatches, the first clock/radio (1928), and the first electric clock (1931). To ensure the utmost precision, Bulova even established its own observatory in 1920, located atop its New York skyscraper.
Following World War II, Bulova launched The Bulova School of Watchmaking, using new and unique methods to train disabled veterans for positions in the watch and jewelry industry. In 1960, the company changed timekeeping forever with the revolutionary Accutron, the world's first fully electronic watch. Accutron timing was used on 46 NASA missions, including Apollo XI, the first lunar landing (1969).
Today, Bulova has expanded globally, with four separate watch brands: Bulova, Bulova AccuSwiss, Bulova Accutron II, and Caravelle New York, as well as the award-winning Bulova Clocks. The Bulova brand offers an extensive selection of watches crafted from the finest materials, including surgical grade stainless steel, diamonds, mother-of-pearl, carbon fiber, top-quality leather, and the proprietary Duramic™ nylon/ceramic composite. These timepieces are powered by Precisionist-class quartz, automatic, and quartz movements, and are backed by a three-year limited warranty.
